"Loundo" means 'un jour' or 'one day' in Mandinka: it is a prayer, a dream that it is never too late. Our slogan “Dianbo (Leaves) Africa” expresses our commitment to the preservation and protection of the natural world. The eight songs are all original compositions by Samba Bory, arranged collectively by Kilinba. They treat a range of themes, with an emphasis on traditional virtues, love, loyalty, family and faith. ‘Anaani’ warns about the dangers of deceitfulnnes and duplicity, and ‘Kiiliyaa’ cautions us against jealousy. ‘Roulez Roulez’ is a song of praise for the wisdom of mothers, and ‘La Guerre’ was composed is response to the ongoing crisis and atrocities in Northern Mali and the Sahel.

The record was made at Trixx Studios Berlin during three days in October of 2012. We would not have been able to record it without the generous support of our fans, friends and family.
